Update to - first.ham.ever.

Wow. I have to say that I am pretty impressed....it was GOOD! :) It did take longer to cook than we had planned on...which normally wouldn't be a big deal...but since we called "oldie" and told her we were going to bring her over a plate for dinner...we got kinda stressed out when it wasn't cooked yet!! :( But, all turned out OKAY. It was kick-ass!! :) Now I just need to go put it up before Reavy decides to kill the girls....

Meat Meat Meat!

Or rather Ham Ham Ham! We are giving our first ever Ham a try today! We decided to have it for New Year's Eve instead of tomorrow, besides, it's like 1/2 a Ham, so there will be PLENTY left for tomorrow ! It's in the oven now and is smelling REALLY good. My dad used to make the yummiest Ham, so I'm hoping I got that gene from him! I'll post a picture later on of the final product :)

Breakfast this morning - it was really good, but I think that WE DO NEED Mc Donalds, because our kitchen was a total disaster after making those suckers!! :(

Since it's still cold, we are having disco stew tonight! Yum-a-lish! I THINK that my post title says "it is cold" in German, but....since I rarely went to class when I took it in college (in fact I think I am recalling a D, at best! ) it could say "you eat shit"...who knows!! :)

OBSESSED!

OKAY. So we've finally managed to get with the 21st century-MP3 player. OMG! All of those CDs...now will be listened to once again....AWESOME! I can't get over HOW cool this is! I Have been completely obsessed w/ getting music on it since Friday (our early X-mas pres) - so, with that- off to rip MORE songs!! :) Yay!

B.Bye Christmas!

Yesterday, the day after Christmas (though I think I may have to start calling it X-Mas- TYVM Jesus freaks) was cold and rainy, so we had a fire going most of the day, it was nice. Anyway, here are some cards that we got - hopefully, when you make it big you'll be able to see the picture on the right (right cabinet door, middle) It's FUCKING HILARIOUS!! It's our friends Cindy & Steve and their daughter Makenzie - they live in TN now and are totally poking some fun at their seriously redneck surroundings. We cracked up when we opened their card! Funny stuff! :) Also on the other side there's a picture of my niece Sarah and her dude Jeremy (left cabinet door, bottom) they are getting married in February - wowza!

OMG! Annie Lennox is 53?

Ugh. I suppose I can believe it since I JUST TURNED 30 FUCKING 9! But still, Annie Lennox is 53? Ugh. And today is her birthday, how sucky is that? What am I saying? How SUCKY is that? She's fucking Annie Lennox- yeah, it must SUCK to have your b-day be on X-Mas!! It must suck to be LOADED too, huh? Whatever. :)

OMG! Amberguesa!!

That's hamburger (hamberguesa) in el espanol for those in the know! :) And, yes, I'm SURE my friend, Amber, from Jr. and High school just LOVES that I used to call her that!! (she did it was cute!) So anywho- I just got off the phone w/ her. Wowza! Haven't most likely spoken to her since, oh, I don't know, since our HS graduation. This is the Christmas card we just got from her- yeah, yeah, taking a picture of a picture NEVER works out that well, but scanning is a pain, so I always opt for this. It was really good to talk to her- so I thought I'd do a post about it- and Aren't her kids CUTE as SHIT!?! I've seen pictures before, but they are getting older now :)

Jambalaya!

We made Jambalaya on Saturday. It was so good. What's not to like ? There's chicken, sausage, ham, crawfish tails and shrimp in it! Yum-eeee! :) And we haven't had it once since we've moved to AR, so not having it for at least four years....it was SUPER Yummy!!

Happy Birthday Sherry!

Yesterday was my sister's birthday and we went over to her house for lasagna and cake. Lasagna = YUM. Cake = totally over the cake! :( we just had two different kinds for my birthday last weekend, and then more cake not even a week later....both Julie and I were going- "okay, it's hard to believe, but were sick of cake" :) Here are some pics from being over there last night.

I got this from Dlisted. I LOVE her! Who the fuck would go to her concert and do that?"! She's fucking TORI AMOS you stupid bitches!! Unbelievable! And, as you see, the audience agrees!! :) those chicks need to go see a Hillary Duff or Britney Trainwreck concert instead!! UGH!

Last night at her San Diego show, Tori Amos showed two girls that she doesn't mess around. Two girls were seated in the front row and I guess they kept coming and going as they pleased. While playing "Code Red", Tori stopped halfway through and told the girls "Get the fuck out of my show! It's a privilege to sit in the front row and I reserve those seats for people who appreciate music, get the fuck out!" A dude then came out and escorted the chicks from the front row.

Damn! Those girls went really quietly. I guess Tori told them. I would've been hollerin' for a refund and shit.

Fast forward to about 2:25 to see it.

Lunchtime!

We had a beef roast last night for dinner, so we had open-faced roast beef sandwiches with melted cheese for lunch- yum. :)

Pork roasty, potatoes and some gravy = YUMMY! It really was good. Julie isn't even a fan of pork and she liked it. We're thinking about doing a HAM for Christmas! :)

Happy Birthday to ME!

Yesterday anyway!! :) I turned 29-didn't you know?! :) That cake there though maybe got me SICK! :( sucks too, b/c it was SUPER yummy! We got it on Sat. Shannon spent the night so she could get her PS2 fix in..so DUH, we ate some :) Then I was sick later that night, and then on Sunday same thing...and I had more cake for breakfast! It was either that or I picked something up at Wal-Mart when we were there getting the damn cake! So instead of going over to my sister's for a yummy chicken casserole (my SUPER fav) at lunch-ish, Julie brought Shannon home around 12:30, and I stayed in bed until about 4pm. Sherry sent some of the casserole back (with MORE cake) with Julie and we ate it for lunch- it was super tasty. Then, still feeling kinda crappy, we got some soup from the Chinese place for dinner and THAT really hit the spot- who knew?! Julie knew! :) We played some Grand Theft Auto, watched Heroes and Dexter and went to bed! All in all though, it was a pretty good birthday....yeah, I didn't feel too great most of the day- but I got to lay around napping in bed, ate yummy food for lunch and dinner, played some video games, had a FEW (really, only a few :) ) drinks and watched some good shows! FUN!

OMG! Jenny's new car

So, that picture down there of Reavy in Jenny's backseat,all happy as shit after we launched his ball for him on Thanksgiving day...reminded me that I had pics of Jenny's car to post! OMG! did you know that keys are no longer needed? Yeah, that big button right there where a normal ignition would be STARTS and TURNS OFF her car! CRAZY! It's totally cool though! I know that the trunk didn't even have a place for key, and I'm not remembering seeing one by the doors either! Anywho, it's a Nissan Altima and I LOVE IT! It has heated front seats, sunroof, etc. It was MUCHO fun to drive around when she was here for Thanksgiving. After NINE years of driving the Jeep around, it was really nice to drive a CAR. So nice! Unfortunately, along w/ the car comes the payment.... :( so, guess we're gonna keep driving that Jeep as long as possible!!! Crap!

I don't think so! Especially since Reavy's in the middle! they are probably freezing- WE'RE freezing for that matter. I guess I need to get out there, clean the fireplace :( and start a fire! BRRRR! But it's going to be like 80 on Saturday...whatever!

I fixed the issue w/ not being able to click on the pictures and make them bigger. For some reason, the latest posts asked if you wanted to download the picture to make it bigger, and it wasn't really THAT much bigger. TOTALLY annoying! But, I just deleted the ones that were doing that and re-uploaded them...wala! :)

Santa- Fill our stockings!!

Julie's and mine are on the fireplace mantle and Riley, Aidan, and Reavy's are on door knobs! The only thing they're getting filled w/ is COAL!! :) AND I don't know what the deal is- but we used to be able to click on the pictures in the posts and they got real B I G - now firefox or blogger? asks you to download them and they aren't nearly as big! THAT BLOWS! Is that happening to anyone else? The older posts are still able to be made GIGANTOR, but not this newest stuff. I liked to be able to click on the pics and check them out- and now I can't! Stupid computer crap!! MOTHERFUCKERCRAPSHITDAMNUGH! :(
