ALRIGHTY THEN!
It seems that I am having "Issues" with font size. I have tried and tried and it WON'T fix it!! Ugh. It's driving me crazy!! Motherfuckergoddamnitshitassfuck!
Now, if only they ENFORCE it!!! :)
Gotta love small towns!! This is from an article in our local paper about a new dog ordinance All dogs not kept indoors must by confined in a fenced back yard and not tethered on a chain, rope, etc. Basically it is saying that you must have a fenced-in backyard for your dogs if you have them, but I thought saying that you cannot chain a dog is AWESOME! I hate that! There used to be a billboard on 290 about how a chained dog just watches as life passes by... :( I hated and yet loved that billboard!! :)
Easy breezy!
We love the Bertoli dinner in a bag with penne pasta, asparagus, and shrimp. They have other kinds, but we have only had this one. You just never know what KIND of frozen chicken chunks you're gonna get, so we've stuck w/ shrimp! Anyway, it's really good, and it's a SUPER easy - dinner in 10 minutes!! :)

We're the crazy wind chime people!!
So the crazy weather today..74 high ,low of 25, has made it VERY windy this evening. So I recorded out the back door - you can't see shit..but you can hear the chimes. It's kind of cool. Well, I think it's kind of cool! :)
How many dogs does it take to change a light bulb?
| | 1. Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb? |
| | 2. Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code. |
| | 3. Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp! |
| | 4. Rottweiler: Make me. |
| | 5. Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark. |
| | 6. Lab: Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please, please! |
| | 7. German Shepherd: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation. |
| | 8. Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture. |
| | 9. Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb! |
| | 10. Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark. |
| | 11. Chihuahua : Yo quiero Taco Bulb. Or "We don't need no stinking light bulb." |
| | 12. Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares? |
| | 13. Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle... |
| | 14. Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry. |

And this is brrrr. at Cindy & Steve's!
Now THAT'S brrr! :) This is their house in TN, this winter. And you can tell it's in TN because of the shed/garage thing on the side of the house - that's like straight out of deliverance!.... :) So they have their own little serial killer shed! Just like us! This area is QUITE "deliverancy " too. Really, sometimes it's rather frightening that we DO live here!

More brrrr....
Icicles! 1:30 this afternoon!
So yeah, today I went out to the Alley House (aka - serial killer barn) to change the outside light. It went out and we have a dusk timer on it, so if it's not on at night, I have to go see why (wow- that's a long explanation! ) So as I'm about to put my foot on the first step, I realize that they are all icy and was careful so I didn't break my back when I fell. Thank you! Falling would have SUCKED, and most likely HURT a lot! After I replaced the bulb and was on my way back down the steps I noticed the icicles. I thought- "Holy fuck! IT IS COLD!" Because when I went out there to do that I thought it was pretty cold and I wanted to change that fucking light pronto and get my ass back inside, specifically the living room, with the fire! :) And I KNOW it's way colder in other places, like, oh, say...CHICAGO, Houston, TN where Cyn lives, or even CO, where I grew up..., but I don't give a fuck. I live HERE, not in any of those places, and I think it's kinda chilly!! brrrr. :) :)
"Hey jerk face! Stay away from my ears!"
We found out just a few months after we got Reavy that his ears were going to be a problem! The vet said it was just something that comes with the Hound families. So because of this, we have to keep a close watch on them, and clean them...A LOT. The stuff is great, it totally does what it's supposed to do, and we have not had to go to the vet for another "ear issue" since the first time two years ago. However, he HATES it. The stuff smells FANTASTIC! - but i have a feeling the taste... not so much. :( The other night I had to clean them, and I have to CRAM cotton balls down into his little ears to get anything out and make sure they're dry-ish. We didn't have any more cotton balls out, so I had to find the "extrie" bag...OH MY GOD! Those things are un-fucking -believable! The thin, wimpy plastic bag starts to rip before the "Jaws of life" zipper part even BEGINS to come apart!! So, you have to beat food zip lock bags with a brick to get them closed, and then they open right back up! But, cotton balls all over the floor because of an accidental bag opening!?! NOT going to happen!

OMG! Hobart
This is Hobart, he's Cindy and Steve's pooch. Isn't he just the cutest?! He is one of their two dogs. At one time, they had three as well. He also has Rhodesian Ridgeback in him, so he has the white chest, his head and body are built kind of the same, and he has some white paws too, you just can't see them in this pic. He's much darker than Reavy, but you can tell they have some of the same breed in them! :)

Someone DOES live there!
That's what people will say now as they drive by. Today I mowed all the leaves, and yesterday I trimmed the Hydrangea (sp?) and the Lantanna (sp?)we have in the front beds. So now our house looks like we actually live in it! It was pretty bad. :( But, in my defense: 1. it's gloom and doom here in the winter- I'm so not motivated to do yard work. 2. it's cold here in the winter so my back, hips, ahh fuck it - WHOLE body kind of hurts more. And 3. it's really cool that my dad got the riding lawnmower, but it's SUCH an ordeal to actually USE it, it sits there for four months! :)

Our Phone!
Yeah, remember that part about the CLUELESS customer service person? Well shocker, it wasn't the right phone. So this box that came yesterday has been resealed and awaits Mr. Ups man to come back and get it. But, the RIGHT phone was ordered yesterday, so with any luck, we'll get it on Friday! There are only TWO handsets, not the loco FOUR dumb bitch said...It has "capabilities" to support four, but since they are as much as the phone, we'll be just fine with TWO! :)
