Happy Memorial Day!

Ugh. Too much chicken (legs- they were awesome) too much beef sausage, and too much potato salad (made sunday- so EXTRIE dee-lish!) oh, and edward's key lime pie. notice I didn't say - too much! :)

We stimulated the economy!!!

We got a new bedspread and pillowcases at Wal-Mart yesterday. Total splurge! We have been using the same four pillowcases since we lived in Katy!!! We got a charcoal grill too - it was kind of fun getting to spend some money on fun stuff instead of always bills and food! :) Yay stimulus check! Boo being self-employed!! :( But $600 is better than nothing that's for sure! :)

OMG! Another new post!

Julie had a HORRIBLE day yesterday, specifically last night!! She has been S U P E R busy with work, which is awesome, but she lets it stress her out. I have been cooling her jets a little since I've been back home, but I think that with the amount of work she's been doing - she just lets it get to her, no matter what I say - So she needed to have a little fun today. We went to the freaky Atwoods farm store (where the old Wal-Mart was) and got the girls new collars. Reavy got one from his grandma's house, so we needed to get them one too. Riley's is too big, so I have to go exchange it tomorrow, but Aidan's is perfect. Julie got four or five cute summery tank tops, and I got a pocket tee - it was only $3.99...awesome!!! :) Then we went to Popeye's for lunch - yeah, REAL fancy, I know. But it hit the spot and it's not like we actually went INSIDE or anything. We ate in the jeep. Reavy really likes their fries. Hopefully he isn't going to have AWFUL doggie farts because of them- but we'll have no one to blame but ourselves....so! :( We also went to a nursery that is not too far past my sister's house. We have always wanted to stop and check it out, but never have. It was super cool. and they had great prices - so VERY cool! :) Our friend Cindy has a really nifty shelf in front of one of her windows and we totally loved it....so we put a shelf in front of our kitchen window and put some plants that we got today on it! :) Thanks Cindy! :) And - the red on the walls is not finished. It looks MUCH better once all the coats are on! Have to get back to finishing that too! UGH! :)

OMG! A post - finally!

Can you even believe it!? I am FINALLY getting around to posting! :) It has been rather CRAZY since I got back from Houston, but it is finally getting back to normal - whatever that is! :) I have made a few yummy home cooked meals since I've been home because Jules was SOOOOOO over all the prepared stuff she survived on while I was gone! :( So - this is what we had last night for dinner. It was something we just made up. It had onion, red pepper, asparagus, tomato, cream, parmesan, mozzarella, and rigatoni. It was pretty good, but I think that next time we should use shrimp instead of chicken.
