You know....like the washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and STOVES that they had? That shit ran for 20+ years...Every fucking time! Why can't WE HAVE THAT? Our stove is ONLY 4 years old...in March! We bought it Brand-fucking new when we got the house because the stove that was here was A. Electric, and B. Totally disgusting. It was also most likely C. Old as shit, but still worked fine! Annoying! Anyway, our stove didn't totally die, but the oven stopped working on Thursday. So my dad came over Friday and fixed it- yay dad! But that stupid little piece of crap part was $60! If we would have had to have Mr. appliance repair man come fix it....it would have probably been $150! I know I should be glad that's how it went down, but it gets kind of old! We are one our SECOND brand new refrigerator, we have already replaced ONE two year old window unit, and have to get ANOTHER one for our bedroom before this spring, and our dishwasher is broken and we need to replace that one of these days! At least with that, we can get around it by just washing our dishes in the sink-unfortunately we haven't figured out how to cook something w/o a working oven, keep your food cold w/o a working fridge, or cool your bedroom in the summer w/o a working window unit! :( UGH!

That's why I don't have a problem living in an apartment. Oven breaks? Call maintenance! AC breaks? Maintenance!
Exactly! Home ownership is way overrated! Fortunately though, since we live here our maintenance crew is my dad and brother-in-law :) I can't tell you HOW much shit they've fixed/helped with in the last four years!! :)
