Really! If you don't start with Uncle Ben's, then you will have a bunch of sticky, nasty, gross-ass rice! My parents and sister ALWAYS get us this shit rice when they go to the Commissary in Little Rock. And well, it's awful like I was saying. It's real nice they they get us shit when they are there, and we REALLY appreciate it, but they could stop with the off-brand rice! And, I'm sure they will after this post. And what that means is that we will no longer be getting ANY free rice in the future!! :) That's okay. I think we can splurge a little for the real deal! :) And anyone out there that CAN make good rice out of grody off-brand rice.....Kudos to you! So just go get some Uncle Ben's Rice and forget about spending mucho dinero on a rice maker!!! :) :)

Oh, yeah, Uncle Bens is the only way to go. You know, you could use the yucky rice in casseroles and stuff. That way you're not wasting the yucky rice.
Anyway, I really don't NEED a rice cooker. But just think how nice it would be to set your rice to be done at 7:00 at night and come home to your rice already done!
Just another gadget to interfere with my lovely surfaces.
I love my new rice cooker! And I used Uncle Ben's! I just suck at cooking it on the stove. It's so fluffy and yummy in the cooker.
Yumm. Uncle Ben's! I have made casseroles with sticky rice though, and it works pretty okay for that! :)
