Blackened Chicken Recipe


So I made this blackened chicken the other night for dinner, and it was really, really yummy. Julie wants to get some red snapper, crawfish and shrimp so I can try to recreate the dish we used to get pretty much every time we went to Papa Deaux. Anywho Jenny wanted the recipe so here it is:
1/4 c paprika
2 T thyme
2 t onion powder
1 t garlic
1 t salt
1/4 t red pepper powder
Mix this all up, melt some butter and put your chicken or fish in the butter first then into the blackened mixture. YUM!

Thanks for the recipe! Now that I have the fancy dancy fridge and kitchen, I'm looking for cool things to cook in it eventually. Looks tasty!
