We had the excellent chicken pot pie from Tiffanie once again last night for dinner...
Well, as you can see Tiffanie, It still isn't very pretty, but it's better! What's the secret to getting that other crust out for the top w/o totally fucking it up like I do?! I think it looks great!!! It looks lots better than the first ones I made. The last one turned out pretty well. I made sure that it was all the way thawed out, then I gently kind of loosened the edges around the pan, then held the pie pan upside down over the mixture and gently kind of pulled it out. You can always take it out any way you want it, then roll it back out again! OMG...now I'm thinking about rolling out all of the crust and making individual ones in little ramekins or something! I wonder if that would work? Probs too much trouble, eh?
I swear to God Nilla Wafers used to be the size of that pie. :)
OMG, pie-sized nilla wafers sound soooooooo good right now!
